basmati/long grain white rice1.5cup(s)
chicken broth/water-2.75cup(s)
  1. ”Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add pasta and cook, stirring often, until golden brown and very fragrant, about 4 minutes.
  3. Add rice and gently stir to coat in butter.
  4. Add broth and a big pinch of salt, increase heat to medium-high, and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir once, then cover and reduce heat to low.
  6. Cook until broth is absorbed and rice is tender, 18–20 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, uncover, and fluff rice gently with a fork.
  8. Cover and let sit 5–10 minutes before serving.”
